While Sunny Leone grooves in a special number for Sunil Subramani’s quirky love story.
Sunil Subramani who has assisted filmmaker Anurag Basu on several films over the last 17 years is all set to make his directorial debut with Fuddu, a quirky love story co-produced by Pradeep and Mahima Gupta, Pawan Kumar Sharma and Gandharv Sachdev, which is scheduled to release in 2017.
The film debuts Shubham and Swati Kapoor in the lead and Anurag’s Jagga Jasoos stars, Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif, in cameos. “The duo will recite a romantic poem to steady the protagonist after his wife leaves him and his family disowns him,” reveals a source. Fuddu follows Benaras-born Mohan’s emotional turmoil after he gets married and moves into a one-room house in a cramped Mumbai locality.
The film wrapped up in July 2015 and premiered at the Film Bazaar of the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa last December. “And it’s not just Ranbir and Katrina who are making a special appearance,” the source further reveals. “In a first-of-its-kind turn, Sunny Leone will be grooving as Ranbir and Katrina recite their love ditty. She came on board a month ago and filmed the song earlier this week,” the source adds.
